Jill Amantea is a professional dancer, actress, published model, choreographer, and dance instructor originally from Rossland, B.C. and now based in Toronto, ON. She has over a decade of professional experience performing nationally and internationally for numerous live events, concerts, music videos, commercials, TV series, film, social media content, special events, virtual projects, and stage productions.

She was part of the choreographic team for Club Med Punta Cana and the lead choreographer and show rehearsal director for Club Med Ixtapa Pacific.

Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in dance with a gold medal for academic achievement from the University of Winnipeg in affiliation with the School of Contemporary Dancers. Having the opportunity to work with many world-renowned choreographers including: Darryl Tracy, Susie Burpee, Paul Andre-Fortier, Bill Evans, Paula Blair, Casmiro Nhussi, Davida Monk, Connie Cooke, Odette Heyn, and Gaile Petursson-Hiley, Jill has also trained at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Cecchetti International Ballet Summer Course / Alberta Ballet, Salzburg International Ballet Academy, and Kootenay DanceWorks.

When she’s not performing, she enjoys traveling, cooking, learning new languages, and sharing her passion for performing with the next generation of dancers as a private coach, guest dance instructor and choreographer for Get Low Dance Co, Virtual Venue Theatricals, Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre, Rossland Recreation, and Kootenay DanceWorks.
